How does auto-optimization work?

ClickThroo offers you three different campaign optimization options:

1. Manual Optimization:

This option turns-off automatic optimization, and allows you to micro-manage your campaign without the aid of our optimization algorithm.

2. Auto-optimization by click-through-rate (CTR):

This option is recommended for when conversions are not being tracked (CTR is the next best thing). The optimization engine will prioritize your best-performing landing page variants and will show them more often than your lesser-performing landing page variants which will be shown less and less over time (based on CTR).

2. Auto-optimization by conversion rate based on Pageviews (CRpv): (recommended where possible)

The conversion rate of a landing page represents the best return-on-investment metric and should be used for optimization whenever conversion tracking is in place. As with optimization by CTR, the auto-optimization algorithm determines the best performing landing page variant and shows this more often whilst continuously testing your other variants on a low-priority basis.
